Lancashire Paintball

Delta Forces Lancashire paintball centre also known as Yankeewood is one of the newset sites constructed by Delta Force. The site is is located in dense woodland near the historic market town of Chorley. The woodland surrounding the paintball centre makes it’s game zones ideal for those players wanting to take a stealthy approach in their paintball games. In total there Yankeewood has 6 game zones including, a huge speedball arena and a medieval castle. If you are planning to stay at the centre all day then you can pre-order a pizza that will be delivered to you at lunchtime, or alternatively bring your own food. The pyrotechnics available on this site include paint grenades, smoke grenades and thunderflashes.

By Train

Catch the Northern Rail train to Adlington Rail station. For precise train time we reccommend visiting www.nationalrail.co.uk. Once you get to Adlington Rail station the paintball centre is just under 3 miles away so it is advisable to jump in an inexpensive taxi. Two numbers of local taxi companies are below.

By Car via the M6

Take the exit at Junction 27 on the M6, and take the A5209. If you are coming northbound from the M6 take the third exit, or first exit if you are coming southbound from the M6 onto Crow Orchard Road and Shevington Lane. Contiue driving down for just under a mile past the Total petrol garage which will be on your right. Stay on the A5209 around the left hand bend where the name changes to School Lane. Carry on driving through two sets of traffic lights which will take you out onto the B5239 called Market Street. Contine driving until you reach the roundabout and then take the first exit which will lead you onto Chorley Road (A1506), and continue driving for 2 miles. The road name will change to Wigan Lane, and you will drive past the White Crow pub on your right shortly before entering Coppull. Drive past the Thyme and Place restaurant which will be on your right and the gates to the paintball centre will be a further 300 metres up on your right.

By Car via the M61

If you are coming from the M61 drive following the signs for Chorley, and then follow the signs for the M6. Once you get to the traffic lights that have Fredericks Ice Cream Dairy on the left, turn right into Wigan Lane. Continue past the sand quarry and continue driving for a further 300 yards and you will see entrance to the paintball centre on your left.
