I am writing on behalf of the North West Air Ambulance Charity to thank you for donating the five paintballing vouchers, we really appreciate it. We have now passed the gift on to the local fundraiser to be used as a raffle prize at a fundraising event.
As a local charity that receives no day to day government funding, we rely on the generous people of the North West to help raise £7.8 million each year to keep us flying and saving lives.
On average, it takes us just 14 minutes to reach the scene of an incident, where our doctors and paramedics can provide life-saving treatment where and when it matters most. Wherever we land, we're never more than 10 minutes from the nearest hospital, overcoming obstacles of distance, congestion and access.
