I am writing to thank you for kindly donating 5 gifts vouchers to St. Michael’s Hospice. Your generous gifts will be used as prizes our forthcoming raffles to help generate income for the hospice.
At St. Michael’s Hospice we are dedicated to providing care to people throughout North Hampshire Who are affected by life-limiting illness.
We work hard to give our patients the best possible quality of life by providing specialist care and Support, both within our Hospice in Basingstoke and at patients’ homes, amidst an environment full Of love and support, warmth and friendship, comfort and dignity.
Our services are free of charge and are tailored to help patients and families cope as best they can With the challenges they face.
In 2016/17 it will cost over £3.8m to provide these services to the local community with just 19% Funding from the North Hampshire Clinical Commissioning Group. The remaining £3.1m comes from The kind donations made by people like you, Gifts in wills, Lottery and Retail activities. With your Help the hospice can continue to provide the best professional care for our patients and families at a Time when it is truly needed, and for that we thank you. We are extremely proud that for every £1 Donated by over 80p is spent directly on patient care.
