Dear Manager,
On Behalf of the Swiss Church in London we would like to express our warmest thanks for your support of the Christmas fair 2014.we are very grateful to you contribution which made this fundraiser a big success. We were able to raise £6514.35 which will help us to continue the work of our church.
The 243 visitors of the Christmas Fair could buy Swiss goods and enjoy our national dish Raclette Many tried their luck at the raffle attracted by a number of great prices. Children were invited to make their own Christmas baubles and had a laugh with the giggle doctors of the Theodora Children’s Trust. New and old friends enjoyed the buzzy atmosphere.
Our future will greatly depend on being able to raise sufficient funds to become financially and structurally independent, as the financial support from the Swiss Federation of Protestant Churches (SEK) will gradually come to an end in the coming years. All our efforts have been dedicated to determining a new vision and mission and achieving financial sustainability. We are grateful that we can count on our supporters to enable us to carry on our aim of offering a spiritual and cultural home to the Swiss in London. Their families and friends as well release the suffering of people in the Covent Garden community.
