Dear All
Thank you for the support given to the League of Friends of their Summer Fete, held on 4th of June 2016 at the Victoria Recreation Ground, Tilehurst, Reading your donation was greatly received and helpful to us in our tombola game.
Our thanks go to all our volunteers and members of the Rotary that helped us on the day with the sitting up, getting down, managing car park and main gates and everything else in between, thanks go to Holybrooks for arranging and running the Dog show with their 5 different classes and to Hospital Radio for keeping the day moving along.
All of this helped the League of Friends raise approx £5,500 which was definitely as higher profit as other years, this figure has not been finalized yet as we wait for a few more payments in and out.
Some of you spoke to me on the day about particular quires or observations, any further feedback you have will be gratefully received to see how we can improve on things for future years.
we have already started the planning for the next fete on Saturday 3rd June 2017 we already have your details on our list for when we send out application forms at the beginning for next year, but do put the date in your diary to keep free to attend next year.
