Q: Is it safe for kids?
A: Paintball is as safe for kids as it is for adults. Delta Force seperates all junior activity from adult games, unless otherwise stated on the day.
Q: What is the minimum age?
A: The minimum age to play our national centres is 11 years old. However, we do allow children who have already turned 10 to play, provided there is an adult present for the entire day. The minimum age at most of our Local Centres is 12 years old. Please check the minimum age at our Local Centres by calling the booking office on 0844 477 5050.
Q: What happens if it rains?
A: The events continue - whatever the weather.
Q: Do you have shelter from the rain?
A: In between each game you muster at our basecamp which provides cover from the elements.
Q: What should we wear?
A: Please wear old, loose clothes that you are not too concerned about. You are issued clothing on the day, but you may still get mucky. Also sensible shoes are advised, no high heels or flip flops please.
Q: What time do we start?
A: Please arrive at the centre by 09.15am prompt. The day ends around 4.30pm
Q: What happens on the day?
A: On arrival you will be greeted by the Delta Force staff, who will show you to our basecamp. After filling in a registration form and paying any monies due, you will be issued with all your equipment and clothing followed by an introduction and safety speech. Then the action starts!
Q: Do you sell paintballs in bulk?
A: Paintball prices in England and Wales: £5.99 per 100 when bought in bulk (2000 paintballs), £6.99 per 100 when bought in small quantities.
Paintball prices in Scotland are £6.99 per 100 when bought in bulk (2000 paintballs), £7.99 per 100 when bought in small quantities.
Q: How many games do we play?
A: Normally you play 12 games. In winter time it could be 10 (depends if there is enough light to play).
Q: How long does each paintball game last?
A: Each game lasts for about 10 minutes. However the day is also filled out with game planning and briefings and you are also given a break of approximately 5 minutes between each game - free refreshments (tea and coffee).
